This is when the new Ann Summers store will be opening in Hull

Ann Summers will be closing its doors on Wednesday – but the new store will be opening the very next day.

The lingerie shop in Whitefriargate will be closing its doors after a final day of shopping on Wednesday, with the new premises in Jameson Street opening on Thursday morning. The new store in Jameson Street, formerly the Regatta premises, will be open to the public from 9.30am.

It was announced earlier this month the long-standing store in Whitefriargate would be closing its doors for good, and a closing down sale has been enticing shoppers for last-minute bargains throughout November.

A spokeswoman for Ann Summers said at the time of the announcement: “We are relocating to Jameson Street, in the old Regatta store at number 60.

"We are closing the Whitefriargate store on November 28 and will be reopening on November 29.

"It's very exciting and will be all shiny and new."
