The new Iron Forge pub and restaurant opened in Scunthorpe yesterday - and we had a look inside.
The pub and restaurant is now trading on the site of the former Mallard Inn.
Staffordshire-based Marston's bought the freehold of the former Mallard building earlier this year, with confirmation of the sale coming five weeks after the 50-year-old Burringham Road venue ceased trading.

The £3 million, three-month refurbishment has completely re-invigorated the pub.
Inside the Iron Forge on opening day
The Iron Forge will comfortably fit 300 diners and will offer a daily carvery with a selection of roast meats and all the trimmings.
The pub will also cater for both vegetarians and vegans with popular pub classics that can all be enjoyed with a drink from the brand new, unrecognisable bar with an extensive range of drinks including Marston's cask ales.

The re-naming of the pub is a nod to the local history of traditional blacksmithing, with the interiors even demonstrating some of the key heritage links to the blacksmith trade.
