Scunthorpe retailer announces its intentions after obtaining lease for neighbouring 3,000 sq ft unit

A Scunthorpe company has announced its intentions after obtaining the lease for a neighbouring unit.

The Bed Shop Superstore, on the Skippingdale Retail Park, announced last month that it had obtained the lease for the adjacent unit, which was the Fabric Store.

The Bed Shop has now confirmed this additional space, which will see its showroom increase by 3,000 square feet, will be providing customers with a wide choice of quality sofas, dining and occasional furniture, along with its existing range of bedroom furniture and beds.

The business says this will enhance its choice of products to suit most household needs.

The Bed Shop was initially based on Scunthorpe High Street for more than 30 years until it moved to the Skippingdale Retail Park in 2014.

A grand opening for the additional space will be performed at 2pm on Friday, December 8 and all are welcome.
