As if it wasn't saucy enough ... Grimsby's multi-award winning seafood brand has introduced a potent aphrodisiac sauce combo especially for Valentine's Day.

The Saucy Fish Co, founded on the ethos of creating inspirational fish and sauce combinations, has launched a limited-edition, aimed act creating the right vibe for the midweek love-in.

Made from four potent aphrodisiacs, and titled Saucy No. 5, it promises to add some sex appeal to consumers' plates.

A spokesperson for the Seachill-owned brand, said: "As February 14 falls midweek, Saucy No. 5 will enable time-poor consumers to enjoy a memorable evening, without having to spend too much time in the kitchen.

"The sauce pays homage to the brand's playful side, promising to get pulses racing with its key ingredients: pomegranates, chilli, vanilla and champagne."

It is being gifted for free with online orders from The Saucy Shop.

The ten-year-old brand's strong identity is portrayed through a series of sensual lifestyle images that show off the product. Images depict a model holding Saucy No. 5 as though it is a perfume bottle, with the brand's signature pantone colours providing a bold backdrop.

Howard Dingwall, development chef at The Saucy Fish Co, said: “We wanted to extend our midweek meal offering this Valentine’s Day, creating a limited edition product that would excite multiple senses. We haven’t seen a sauce like this on the market before, so what better time to launch than the most romantic season of the year.”

The launch is being supported by PR, social and influencer activity, informing consumers of the powerful effects of the product.

Mr Dingwall said it is best served with salmon or a white fish such as sea bass. It is being gifted with all orders placed from today, Friday, February 8, while stocks last - ensuring consumers will receive it in time for the big day.
