Princes Quay has a new store - and it's a brilliant success story

A popular kiosk in Hull’s Princes Quay shopping centre has become so popular is has had to move into a fully-fledged store.

Browline opened in the city centre shopping venue last year, offering passing customers beauty treatments from threading and waxing to eyelash extensions.

Now, Browline has announced it will be expanding the business into a unit on level two of the shopping centre, located between The Fragrance Shop and Red5.

John Magee, Princes Quay shopping centre manager, said: “It’s great to see businesses blossom within the centre.

“Browline started as a kiosk in 2018 and only a year later they have relocated to a bigger and more permanent spot. We’ve helped them choose the perfect unit and we’re looking forward to seeing the business grow further over the coming years.”

The move also serves as an opportunity for retailers looking to come into the centre. The busy Outlet level, which was opened in 2017, sees high footfall as Hull shoppers hunt for bargains.

Mr Magee said: “We’d love to expand our health and beauty offering further and would urge other businesses to come forward and speak to us about opportunities within the centre.

"We’re open to ideas and are always willing to discuss and negotiate with new retailers.”
