Plans have been submitted for a 120 home home development in Winterton, despite concerns over how "strained local services" would cope.
The proposal by Gleeson Homes would see the development built on land off Top Road in the town.
As part of the plan submitted to North Lincolnshire Council, a total of 42 two-bedroom, 72 three-bedroom and six four-bedroom houses are proposed.
Each home would come with private parking and some will come with garages.
The developer said in its plans that the homes will help to provide "low cost housing" and better choice for local people.
It said: "The proposal would deliver low cost housing that would foster social inclusion by providing accommodation for local persons who cannot currently afford to live in the Winterton and wider North Lincolnshire area.
"The development would provide for increased housing choice and mix in Winterton and the surrounding area.

"As well as smaller housing for first time buyers, the development will provide a range of larger three- and four-bedroom family housing."
But the plans have been met with objections from local people who said the proposal would increase pressure on services in Winterton.
Richard Goodwin, who lives on Bennett Drive in the town, said in a letter to the authority that the homes would add more "strain" on the town.
"I object to the plan due to the impact this development will have on the services in Winterton," he said.
"We cannot sustain this amount of development with strains on doctors, transport and education already stretched."
Meanwhile, Mark Lyall, of Top Road, said local services were at "breaking point" and the proposal would put pressure on already "stretched" services.
Planners at North Lincolnshire Council will make a decision at a later date on whether the project can proceed.
