Our Shaun hits the shower for latest Tangle Teezer innovation

WITH 40 million global sales in the bag, Tangle Teezer’s Grimsby-born entrepreneurial inventor is going again with a new product.

Shaun Pulfrey has launched The Wet Detangler, a “hairbrush that understands wet hair is super fragile, where our 325 unique teeth flex over tangles and knots with every single stroke”.

It has just been released by the Brixton-based business in Boots, and is available in four “fashion forward colourways,” retailing at £11.

The recipient of a Queen’s Award for Enterprise was famously laughed at on Dragons’ Den, but was subsequently revealed to be the one that got away.

A pool party launch was held to wow press and influencers, with it already being seen on ITV2’s Love Island.

Mr Pulfrey, said: "I invented Tangle Teezer products in 2007 from my experience working as a leading hair colourist. They fast became a global phenomenon.

"The Wet Detangling hairbrush was created to deliver unrivalled results in detangling wet and fragile hair. Teeth flex through hair without pulling, tugging or causing breakage."

It continues the British manufacturing heritage, with a factory in Witney, Oxfordshire.
