A key player behind the firm's move was Ewelina Kowalczyk who will now be the running the sales function in Poland.

“I feel very privileged to have ‘learnt the trade’ with one of Europe’s leading private-label coffee companies over the last decade,” she said.

“Lincoln & York is a very friendly and supportive company that has always encouraged me to progress my career as far as possible.

"I’m now really excited about the opportunity I’ve been given to transfer my skills, passion and experience to my home country."

James Sweeting, managing director of Lincoln & York, said: “It’s been great to watch Ewelina flourish as she’s worked her way up the company.
