Safety equipment supplier Arco is on track to open its new £25m National Distribution Centre in November.

The 20,500 sq. metre warehouse space will form a core part of Arco’s ambition to grow turnover to £500m.

Construction of the new facility, next to the safety equipment supplier’s existing warehouse in Henry Boot Way, Hessle, has now entered its final stages.

Arco chose regional construction firm Clugston as its main contractor on the project.

So far, 131,000 hours of construction have gone into the new distribution centre.

Hull Live was given a tour around the new warehouse space on Thursday morning, accompanied by Arco's director of logistics Neil Griffiths and Clugston's project manager John Everitt.

Take a look at the images above, as Arco's new development enters the final phase of construction.
