Popular Cleethorpes seafront restaurant Figs is on the market.
Stephen Sneddon and Lisa Cracknell have run the busy eatery for the past 14 years - the 62 cover restaurant replaced the former Manhattan bar on the resort’s Alexandra Road in May 2006.
For sale: Figs in Cleethorpes
The couple, who are also partners have taken the decision to test the sales market so they can pursue their dream of expanding, as Lisa explained: "Figs is getting too busy, we are turning people away left, right and centre!
"We can't fit them in - the afternoon teas have gone crazy!
"It's sad to answer the phone and say we are fully booked.
"So we have put the feelers out there and will still be keeping Figs.
"It's a positive thing, we've been here 14 years and we've built up a really good reputation and it's time to expand if there's someone that wants to buy it.
"If not we'll keep it and carry on as we are.
"We do work hard to try and keep our business within the modern world and change our menu to make it interesting."
The couple are very much committed to staying in Cleethorpes and have no plans to close Figs - so watch this space for their future development.

So what can you get for your money?
The lease was recently extended until 2025 - so any new owner would have the future secured for the next seven years. And what's more all main fixtures and fittings are included making it ideal for a seamless hand over should the right buyer be found.
The restaurant comprises 50 covers of customer dining space, with a bar. The rear of the premises includes a fully-fitted commercial kitchen with two rational ovens and a full suite of appliances. Whilst outside, there are currently 12 covers, to the front; forming part of the restaurant licence.
Rear storage units and walk in fridge and freezers are located externally to the rear of the restaurant.

The leasehold sale of Figs provides an exciting opportunity for a local experienced operator, or a regional operator, to acquire a well established, vibrant and exclusive restaurant in the heart of Cleethorpes town centre.
A new purchaser could either begin their own restaurant concept or take over the business and continue to run it as it stands.
