Pace Communications has been shortlisted in two categories at the Northern Digital Awards 2019.

The creative communications agency is a finalist for the Small Digital Agency of the Year award, and the team’s Tom Holgate is in the running for Young Digital Marketer of the Year.

The awards, which are now in their fourth year, recognise the best digital marketing campaigns and talent across the north.

Pace MD, Anita Pace, said: “Digital channels offer our clients the opportunity to win new business, build their brands, drive engagement and control the conversation.

“It’s a key knowledge area at Pace and I’m delighted that our expertise has been recognised by this double award nomination.

“Our success in both the business and individual category demonstrates the talent we have throughout the team.”

Tom Holgate, pictured, was shortlisted after the judges read of his rapid development at Pace, where he has developed his skills across website development, SEO and PPC, and is now using those skills to mentor a junior member of the team.

A Northumbria University graduate, Tom joined Pace a year ago, and has since implemented tracking systems and testing strategies for clients, created a PPC troubleshoot guide and pitched for new accounts.

The winners of the awards will be announced at a ceremony in Leeds in January.
