Porsche’s new £8m showroom in Hessle is hoped to be unveiled in December.
The dealership, which will also include an MOT centre and workshop space, will take up a plot at the Bridgehead Business Park.
Planning for the new development was granted in February, and now developer Listers Group has announced it hopes to complete construction by December.
An initial 35 jobs will be created, with the potential for 15 more in the future.
Councillor Richard Burton, of East Riding Council, said of the plans: "I think it's an excellent development, it oozes quality and will surely encourage more quality offices alongside it.
“I think it opens the door to a really successful further development of the site."

The new development will become the first approved dealership for Porsche in East Yorkshire. The closest rivals are currently in Leeds and Sheffield.
Developer Listers Group is also behind a new £10m Mercedes-Benz showroom being opened at the Melton West Business Park.
Although no opening date has been confirmed by Lister Group, a document released by Melton West site developer Wykeland hinted it could be completed in early 2020.
The Melton West Business Park is set to be expanded after Wykeland bought 200 acres of land next to the existing site, already home to the likes of Kohler Mira, Heron Foods and House of Townend.
The Mercedes-Benz dealership will be located on the very edge of the business park, close to the A63.
Mercedes announced last year that it had outgrown its current home in Hessle, and was looking to expand in the region.

A total of 25 new jobs will be created when Mercedes-Benz moves to Melton West.
Two apprentice positions will also be created, rising to five, and training programmes would be available to employees.
Gary Kinnersley, franchise director for the Mercedes development, said: “With the incredible demand we have experienced in both sales and service in the past seven years, we have far outgrown our Priory Park site and are delighted to be working with Wykeland Group to develop the new premises on one of the busiest routes into Hull.”
The Porsche and Mercedes-Benz developments could one day support 75 new jobs.
