Shoppers will be able to visit the newly opened Boots store in Hull city centre from next year.

The company has confirmed that it will be relocating its store from the Prospect Street Shopping Centre to St Stephen’s Shopping Centre.

The new store will take over the former locations of Peacocks, Sports Direct and Clinton’s, and will be opening in spring.

It will meet the health and beauty needs of the local community, providing customers with a wide range of pharmacy services, and introducing new premium beauty brands and health and beauty products.

Charlotte Atkin, store manager of Boots, Prospect Centre, Hull, said: “Boots has had a store in Hull for over 115 years, so we’re really excited to be able to confirm that we’ll be investing in our presence in the town centre by relocating our current shop into the brand new St Stephen’s shopping centre location.

"With a gorgeous new beauty hall with plenty of new exciting brands alongside an integrated healthcare area, we know that our customers will be very excited to see what we have in store for them.”

The Roadshow will take place next weekend at St Stephens Shopping Centre

The 30,000 sq ft store will be a significant addition to the shopping centre, and will have a focus on beauty, offering a range of premium beauty brands including some new additions, alongside its core healthcare offer, with a new pharmacy and dispensary.

It has confirmed that all of its current staff will be relocating with the store.

Jim Harris, centre manager at St Stephen’s, said: “2018 has seen us bring a range of new brands to St Stephen’s, from Flannels to Rolex, and we’re over the moon to be able to announce the arrival of Boots in spring 2019.

"We can’t wait for the store to open its doors.”

The store will offer confidential consultation rooms where patients can access a range of pharmacy services, including flu and travel vaccinations, alongside a complete range of healthcare products, and the exclusive Boots Pharmaceutical range.

Customers will also be able to find in the new store all of their favourite self-selection beauty brands, including No7 and CYO alongside Soap and Glory and luxury bathing from Champneys.
