An Italian restaurant which has been in Hull city centre for 20 years has been put up for sale.
Paolo’s has been in the Old Custom House, in Market Place, since 1989. The restaurant has served tasty Italian meals to customers for decades, and has been a well-known face in the heart of Hull’s Old Town .
But now the home of Paolo’s has been put up for sale.
The Grade Two listed building is up for grabs for just under £100,000, but with a previous weekly restaurant turnover of £5,500, it could be a good investment.
The restaurant space includes a downstairs bar with seating, and a mezzanine floor with more tables.
Paolo’s said about its current restaurant: “We have a split-level dining area comprising of an intimate downstairs dining area and a large mezzanine restaurant floor space, which is perfect for family and friends celebrations.”

Located in the heart of Hull’s Old Town, surrounded by developments including Trinity Market and Hepworth Arcade, the restaurant is certainly in the right place.
Just a stone’s throw away from the Custom House, work has also entered its final stages on the £6m King William House development.
Seven units have been made available inside the new flagship building, as the hunt begins for new restaurants and shops to move in.
The Old Custom House building currently has a license to serve alcohol until 3am, as well as a music license running to the same time.

The restaurant can seat 100 people across the two floors, and is also available for private functions and weddings.
The property also comes with car parking at the rear of the restaurant.
Property marketer Knightsbridge said extending the opening hours of the restaurant could also lead to increased sales.
Paolo’s was open Monday to Saturday from 6.15pm, and on Friday only from 12pm to 2.30pm. For more information about The Old Custom House, contact Knightsbridge on firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01204 555 050.
