A 68-home development will be unveiled in Scunthorpe, by its town-based developer, this weekend.

Yaddlethorpe Grange, off Sunningdale Road, is being brought forward by HG Homes, part of Hunt Group, with sister company Britcon building it out.

Contained within a private walled community the development combines nine different house designs and a choice of detached, semi-detached and mews homes with individual character and large gardens, with two, three and four bedrooms.

Looking forward to Sunday’s show home and sales suite opening, Hunt Group chief executive Shaun Hunt said: “We are excited to announce the launch of Yaddlethorpe Grange with our new show house demonstrating the very high quality and specification of our homes.

“With construction now well underway visitors will have a glimpse of the scheme layout which has been carefully designed to reflect a village style setting, maximising privacy and space around each property.

“Our first release includes 18 properties which we hope to achieve agreed sales on before Easter.”

Between 10am and 3pm HG Homes will be offering free advice to interested buyers, with experts on hand to discuss mortgage lending and the Help to Buy scheme open to those making a first step on the property ladder.

Site sales are being managed by Michelle Hunt, Mr Hunt’s wife, with eldest son Declan Hunt appointed as site manager.

Mr Hunt, who enthused about the spacious accommodation with open plan kitchen/dining and high quality installations, added: “We have put a huge amount of care and attention into the design and detail of the homes at Yaddlethorpe Grange. The input from my family has been critical to making sure we deliver a home that satisfies all generations.  The story doesn’t end until we match homes to the right buyers with the entire buying process being easy, personal, positive and enjoyable.”
