Loyal customers continue to travel from and wide to visit Steve Harrison's store on Freeman Street where discerning shoppers can snap up everything from daily newspapers to specialist tobacco.
After four decades in the game, the 61-year-old has no plans to shut his till for good and claims increased competition in the town has just made him even more hungry to outsell his rivals.
