Services restricted following strike action

Monday, March 08, 2010, 12:11

Civil servants have gone on strike across Hull and the East Riding in a row over redundancy pay.

About fifty workers at Normandy barracks, near Leconfield, have formed a picket line outside the military base.

Services at courts and job and tax centres in Hull are also believed to be restricted because of the walkout by members of the Public and Commercial Services Union.
