My PPI 'refund' was a £60 rip-off

I was phoned by a company who identified themselves as PPI who told me I was due a refund of £59.99 for the mis-selling of payment protection insurance. As I was expecting a call, though not from PPI, I gave them my bank details so the refund could be made.
