Su's a jolly good Fellow, and so say all her colleagues

AWARDS: Su Credland from First Hull Trains has been awarded a Fellowship from the Institute of Professional Administrators (IPA).

Su, who is PA to First Hull Trains' general manager James Adeshiyan, received her award in a ceremony at the Gray's Inn Society in London.

The IPA is the longest established professional institute for business administrators in the UK and aims to raise the profile of the role of administrators in UK and overseas business.

Su was one of only a handful people across the UK to receive the exclusive accolade, which recognises members' contribution and continuous membership to the organisation.

Su, who has been a member of the institute through academic achievement for more than 20 years and has been on various committees, said: "We were all dressed up like we were in a scene from Harry Potter in our caps and gowns.

"I have been pleasantly surprised by the response from colleagues who have been very quick to pass on their congratulations.

"It's a lifetime award, so even once you've left the workplace it stays with you, which is really nice. Only a handful of people receive a Fellowship every year, so it's a pretty exclusive title – I am absolutely delighted."
