Chaired by Tony Edwards of Humber Inca, the free event will hear from: Tim Godson, team leader of climate change at the Government Office for Yorkshire and the Humber, about national and regional developments on climate change and how they impact on the Humber. John Barrett, of Stockholm Environment Institute at the University of York, on Carbon Footprinting, the Resource and Energy Analysis Programme. Geoff Leaver, Chemical & Pharmaceutical Manager of Envirowise about resource efficiency. Laura Owen, of Yorkshire Water, will give a case study on carbon reduction. Pete Berry, principle research scientist at ADAS UK will look at carbon footprinting for biofuels.

It's the Environment, Stupid! Re-launch of the Humber Environment Network (HEN) - Profit Improvement through Environmental Excellence. HEN is an initial three-year programme aimed at bringing businesses, both large and small, in the Humber Region together to generate increased business profit via thorough understanding and implementation of: * Regulation * Technology * Resource Efficiency * Energy * Waste * Water In these harsh economic times, full utilisation of available resources is key to maximising business performance. Institute of Directors, Lincolnshire, Shooting Event

White Lodge, East Halton, Immingham

The event takes place at White Lodge Shooting School in East Halton, which is run by Robert Jobson and his wife Rosemary. A well-known shooting coach and a member of the England team on several occasions, Robert will be the tutor on the day. There will be a mixture of clay shooting, archery and possibly catapults. Equipment is available for those who do not have their own guns and all cartridges will be provided. A buffet will follow. Time: 4pm to 8.30pm.
